Ms. Christine McClain To All Instructors



My name is Christine McClain, and I am the Founder and Head Administrator of Academy of Christian Education (ACE). However, first and foremost, I am a Christian and single homeschool mom who has successfully graduated three children. All I have remaining in my personal homeschool journey is my 18-year-old, who will be a senior this year and will be dual-enrolled. He was the reason ACE was started six years ago. I just wanted a family to do school with.

When I was a child, I told my parents I would be a teacher. I would go to school during the day and then come home in the evening and teach my teddy bears and dolls everything I had learned that day.
 
Years later, this dream became a reality, and I taught in public schools for a few years. However, after having children, I decided that I would homeschool instead. Since then, I have had the privilege to teach in numerous homeschool programs around the county. I have also worked in many children's ministries, such as nursery, AWANA, drama camp, VBS, and many other ministries and events related to working with children. I have kept my teaching certificate up-to-date to continue being an evaluator and tester.
 
I will have the privilege of teaching Bible, handwriting, cooking, and whatever else needs to be taught for the 25-26 school year.
 
This is going to be another fabulous year, and I cannot wait to spend every Monday and Thursday with your children!
