My name is Christine McClain, and I am the Founder and Head Administrator of Academy of Christian Education (ACE). However, first and foremost, I am a Christian and single homeschool mom who has successfully graduated all four of her children. Praise be to God! My last child was the reason ACE was started seven years ago. I just wanted a family to do school with. 

When I was a child, I told my parents I would be a teacher. I would go to school during the day and then come home in the evening and teach my teddy bears and dolls everything I had learned that day.

Years later, this dream became a reality, and I taught in public schools for a few years. However, after having children, I decided to homeschool instead. Since then, I have had the privilege to teach in numerous homeschool programs around the county. I have also worked in many children's ministries, including nursery, AWANA, drama camp, VBS, and other events related to working with children. I have kept my teaching certificate up-to-date to continue being an evaluator, tester, and consultant.

I will have the privilege of teaching Bible, handwriting, spelling, vocabulary, ELA skills, and Adopt-a-Cow for the 26-27 school year.

This is going to be another fantastic learning year, and I cannot wait to spend every Monday and Thursday with your children!

Of course, we will continue to think out of the box and do as many fun activities in and out of school as I can think of and fit into our schedule. All while pointing your children to Christ. Remember, we are looking to heaven, not Harvard!
